Common Sense Parenting Program

Growing Up Together is pleased to announce the upcoming Common Sense Parenting program starting on March 6, 2012. The program will be held on Tuesday’s for six consecutive weeks at St. Mary’s Healthcare Center. The dates of each class are March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 3, and 10, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Common Sense Parenting is a very effective and empowering parent education tool. This program is ideal for parents, grandparents or caregivers with children age three to adolescence. Tips learned will reduce family stress, diminish yelling and fighting, and reduce problem behavior You will learn teaches staying calm techniques for both parent and child. The skills learned can be used with any parenting style and with any single parent, two-parent, or multi-parent set of rules.

The cost of the class is $30.00 and the Common Sense Parenting Book can be purchased for $15.00. Scholarships are available to cover these costs to anyone who needs one.
