What is the Board of Directors?

  • A term for a director is 3 years with a maximum of 2 consecutive terms.
  • The term begins November 1st and ends October 31st.
  • Assist Policy Council & Staff in self-evaluation of agency's Head Start Program.
  • Establish Budget Policies.
  • Approve staff hires and resignations
  • Self & Community Assessments.
  • Establish advisory committees.
  • Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
